MBT Mother's Day Blog Hop

Hello and WELCOME to the MB's Treasurista Mother's Day Blog Hop! I can't wait to show you what I have made for this hop! If you've come to me from my amazing friend Lina's blog then you are right on track! If you just happened to stumble upon my blog and want to join the hop please go back to Misty's Blog HERE and start at the beginning! :)

This months theme for the blog hop was Mother's Day and Spring themed. So I wanted to make an altered picture frame for my mom and a card to go with it! Take a look:

I used several MBT products on this frame. First is the ruffled satin trim in cream that I used Lina's Teach Me Tuesday technique from this week to create! Please check it out HERE if you are interested in making this gorgeous trim! I uses many acrylic flowers, the beaded pearl trim, pearl bead sprays, and the rhinestone trim! AHH, I LOVE it all! :) I used quite a few MFT flower dies to create all the paper flowers along the side.

Close up of the satin trim with the beaded pearl trim! If you look closely you will see that I put the burlap trim behind the satin trim embellishment.

I used the MFT Sweet Stack die-cuts to decorate the inside of the frame.

I made a matching card to go with the frame. I used the MFT Pure Innocence stamp set called "Bunch of Blooms." I colored her up with my Copics and paper pieced the dress. I made the cloud background using tumbled glass Distress Ink and I made the grass using Copics. I used more of the burlap trim as kind of a fence like object. I then used a porcelain flower, acrylic wheat spray and pearl bead spray on the card. I really like how it turned out and how well the card goes with the frame. :)

Please Check out the MBT products I used:
