MBT August New Release Sneak Peek Sunday

Hello Hello and welcome to another Sneak Peek Sunday for MB's Treasurista!!! 

Good Morning! So this month for my sneak peek Sunday I have some wishful thinking going on.  It has been over 90 degrees with most days near or above 100 degrees for the past month in the St. Louis area. I am so tired of this heat so I decided to make a winter themed card! :) I know, I know it's July! But I want cooler weather so bad at this point and it gave me an excuse to break out my winter stamps and paper which was super fun. So for this project I created a card using My Mind's Eye 12 Days of Christmas paper pad and the MFT stamp Who's That Girl- Gets Cozy with Cocoa!!! LOVE this stamp set.

Altered Mason Jar - Lemonade Stand Sophie

Hey there!!! I can't wait for you to see what I have created for my DT project this month for Sweet Nothings Stamp Co. If you don't know what SNSC is well you just happen to be missing out on a super adorable digital stamp line created my my great friend Lina. Please click HERE to see what all the hype is about. 

This month I used the ever so cute Lemonade Stand Sophie image.

 I really wanted to use this image but didn't have a stamp set that went along with it so I couldn't really create a card. SO, I created this altered mason jar. I am going to put the ingredients for homemade lemonade (sugar & lemons) inside it and give it as a gift. 

This was a super cute and simple way to alter a jar to give as a gift. I simply colored the image using my Copic markers then cut it out. I used three different colors of baker's twine to add some embellishments. On top of the twine I hot glued small buttons that went along with the colors in the image. They I cut tulle and tied it around the top of the lid and added some flowers to the top! Hoe easy is that?!?!

July Creative Challenge for Sweet Nothings Stamp Co.

Good Morning Fellow Crafters!  I am so excited for you to be joining Sweet Nothings Stamp Co.  and it’s very talented Design Team for our July Creative Challenge.

From now on, the 2nd Tuesday of every other month we are going to run a Creative Challenge.  Some months the challenge may be a color palette to work with, other months it may be a theme or a layout. Every other month will be something new and creative for you to challenge yourself with.  There will be a sweet little prize to be won as well. 

For the month of July, we will be challenging you to create a project with a card sketch.  This super cute sketch is great for any type of card and you can use any sentiment.

June SNSC DT Project

So, I do realize that this in July 3rd and I am just now posting my June project. I have been MIA for about 4 weeks now. It's been a stressful 4 weeks to say the least but now I am back! YAY! I wanted to share a card with you I created for the one of the June new releases. This image is the amazingly adorable Soap Bubble Sophie! I just think she is so cute. Here is my card:

The paper I used for this card is the My Minds Eye Fine & Dandy Girl paper stack. What a fun and bright paper stack. The image of course is Soap Bubble Sophie! They sketch for the card is a MFT sketch. I believe it's number 78. It was a simple layered sketch that was perfect for the more simple type of card I wanted to create.
